My goal in life is to help to make the world a better place – specifically in Africa and in Israel. My love of this amazing planet means I aim to educate and share knowledge and awareness of the natural world and how we can ensure that we live lightly on this planet
Ilana is also the Head of Education at The Academy of Jewish Thought and Learning in South Africa where she develops and teaches adult education courses ranging from in-depth studies in Tanach to the integration of Torah and environmental ethics.

The beginning of our happiness lies in the understanding that life without wonder is not worth living.
